Jorge serves as a member of the ANSI committees: A10.2 subcommittee “Training Management, Development, Delivery, and Evaluation,” part of the ANSI/A10 “Accredited Standards Committee on Safety in Construction and Demolition Operations.” Member of the ANSI Z359 “National Work at Height Task Force.” Member of Z359.14 subcommittee “Safety Requirements for Self-Retracting Devices for Personal Fall Arrest & Rescue Systems,” part of the ANSI/Z359 “Fall Protection & Fall Restraint.” And Member of the Z359.17 subcommittee “Safety Requirements for Flexible Horizontal Lifelines for Personal Fall Protection Systems,” part of the ANSI/Z359 “Fall Protection & Fall Restraint.” He received the chapter-based 2016 President’s Award for outstanding service to the Nova Chapter, 2017 Chapter Safety Professional of the Year (SPY), and 2017 ASSE Region VI Safety Professional of The Year (SPY).
