As the Health and Safety Professional, you will be an integral part of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Team.
What you will be doing
- EHS Program Management: Implement, train on, and oversee EHS programs, staff activities, and related organizational performance standards to support the facility.
- Coaching and Support: Guide, coach, mentor, and support all site employees on how to protect themselves, each other, and company assets efficiently and productively.
- SME and Compliance: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to partner with operations leadership and the general workforce regarding the interpretation of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Audits and Improvement: Lead or participate in EHS audits and inspections, developing remediation plans as needed. Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives related to EHS policies and programs.
- Training: Lead employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance.
Requirements and Competencies
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: One (1) or more years of OHS experience (including internships).
- Authorization: All candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available.
Additional Preferred (Not Required) Competencies
- Experience: 3+ years of OHS management experience, particularly in manufacturing environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
