Managing Fall Hazards – Free Training

Rutgers School of Public Health is offering free training entitled, ” Expectations and Accountability for Managing Fall Hazards inMultiple Employer Construction Sites.”

Falls continue to be the leading cause of serious injuries and death on construction sites. Controlling contractors exert the most influence on multi employer job sites and set a general tone for work. This is often referred to as a “culture of safety.” The OSHA Susan Harwood sponsored fall prevention training will address:
1. Fall protection as a general condition on construction worksites
2. Examples of multi-employer roles & responsibilities
3. Fall protection training requirements

New Jersey State Safety Council Names New President

The New Jersey State Safety is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Paulukiewicz as President.

Prior to his appointment, Robert was employed by AIG as a Senior Risk Consultant in the Casualty Risk Solutions/ Liability Risk Consulting Division with a specialty in the Energy Industry.  With over 37 years in the Safety/Loss Control profession, Robert has experience in the public and private sectors, service and manufacturing industries, and the insurance/risk management fields.Read More
